Pot Luck Lunch – January 25

Join us for food, fellowship, and community!

Following our 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday, January 25, everyone is invited to stay for a Pot Luck Lunch at Christ Church Bolton.

This is a wonderful opportunity to share a meal, enjoy good conversation, and deepen our sense of community. Please bring a favorite dish to share if you are able. All contributions are appreciated, and all are welcome, even if you’re unable to bring food.

We look forward to gathering around the table together after worship.

Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper & Community Supper

Tuesday, February 17 | 5:30–7:00 PM
Doors open at 5:00 PM

Join us this year as we celebrate Shrove Tuesday with a Pancake Supper, held in conjunction with our monthly Community Supper!

Everyone is welcome to enjoy a warm, welcoming evening of pancakes, fellowship, and community. Doors open at 5:00 PM, with supper served from 5:30–7:00 PM.

This event is free, and all are invited—bring your family, friends, and neighbors. We look forward to sharing this special evening with you!

Shrove Tuesday & Community Supper

Tuesday, February 17 | 5:30 pm
Pancake Supper & Community Meal

Join us for a joyful evening of food, fellowship, and celebration as we combine the tradition of Shrove Tuesday with our Community Supper.

Shrove Tuesday has long been a time of gathering and generosity before the season of Lent begins. This welcoming event is open to everyone in our neighborhood.

 

Ash Wednesday

Wednesday, February 18 | 12:00 pm & 7:00 pm
Holy Eucharist with the Imposition of Ashes

You are warmly invited to mark the beginning of Lent with this solemn and hopeful service.
This liturgy offers an opportunity to turn again to Christ and begin the Lenten journey grounded in God’s forgiveness and love.

 

Palm Sunday

Sunday, March 29

• 8:00 am – Eucharist
• 10:00 am – Choral Eucharist
• 11:00 am – Palm Sunday Palm Parade

Following the 10:00 am service, we will walk together into the local community carrying palm crosses as a public witness of faith and joy. Come and journey with us toward Easter. Coffee and snacks following Palm Parade.

 

Maundy Thursday

Thursday, April 2

6:00 pm – Simple Meal
📍 Parish Hall
A modest shared meal recalling the humility and fellowship of the Last Supper.

7:00 pm – Maundy Thursday Worship Service
⛪ Sanctuary
Scripture, prayer, and remembrance of Jesus’ commandment to love and serve one another.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend both the meal and the service.

 

Good Friday

Friday, April 3

• 10:00 am – Carrying the Cross
  Gather at the church and walk through the local community reflecting on Christ’s journey.
• 11:00 am – Good Friday Service
  A solemn service held in the church.

You are welcome to participate in one or both.

 

The Great Vigil of the Resurrection

Saturday, April 4 | 7:00 pm

Join us for the most sacred and joyful service of the Christian year as we move from darkness into light, proclaiming Christ’s resurrection.

The Vigil includes Scripture, prayer, song, a baptism, and the renewal of baptismal vows. Coffee and snacks following service.

 

Easter Sunday

Sunday, April 5

• 8:00 am – Eucharist
• 10:00 am – Choral Eucharist

Celebrate the joy of Easter with worship, prayer, and music as we proclaim the hope and new life of the resurrection. Coffee and snacks following 10 am service.
