Christ Church Bolton Participates in Iftar Dinner at Mubarak Mosque
On March 9th, members of Christ Church Bolton were honored to attend an Iftar dinner hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at at the Mubarak Mosque in Brampton. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for our church members to engage with the Muslim community and gain insights into the rich traditions and practices associated with the holy month of Ramadan.
A special thank you goes out to James and Steve, who provided transportation for our group, ensuring that everyone was able to attend this enlightening experience. We look forward to fostering continued dialogue and friendship with our Muslim neighbors as we continue to embrace opportunities that bring us closer together, nurturing interfaith relationships that enrich our lives and our community.

Coldest Night of the Year (2025) Indoor and Outdoor Walk
2025 COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR WALK
CNOY Update
On Friday, Feb. 21 our indoor walkers braved the obstacles of snow, police and film crew to do many circuits of the inside of the church to the wonderful music of Horst on the piano. We had a delicious meal of Heike’s lentil soup, cheese, crackers, and fruit and were encouraged by Mariia from CCS with treats, prizes and her enthusiasm!
On Saturday, Feb. 22 our outdoor walkers joined over 200 others from the community to complete either the 2 km. or the 5 km. walk at Caledon East. We were motivated by speeches, treats, hot drinks, soup and an energetic group of volunteers along the route.
Many thanks to all of our walkers and donors. We have raised over $6200 surpassing our total from last year. At a time when we can feel powerless, we have the power to help those in our community.
Please save the dates for next year. The indoor walk will be February 27, 2026 and the outdoor walk will be February 28, 2026.
With gratitude,
Liz C. and Sue K.
