The year 2019 is the 175th anniversary of Christ Church Bolton. It will be a year of celebration. While none of us has been here for the whole time of our history, we have much to be thankful for.
Last year began with the leadership of Rev. John Wilton and Rev. Bill Craven who provided excellent pastoral care and guidance. By the time they left us, we felt we had made good friends.
Then, after Easter, we welcomed Rev. Don Beyers, our new pastor. We are happy to have him with us giving wonderful energy to our parish. We appreciate the generosity with which he shares his time and expertise, as he strives to help us be more intentional with seeking the Lord in our lives. Welcome Don, and thank you!
In the summer our music director Pedro Quintana left to take a position closer to his home. In September we welcomed a new music director Bruno Zuccato, who is inspiring our choir to reach newer levels of musicality and is ambitious to attract young folk to join us singing God’s praises.
Exciting plans are being prepared to celebrate our 175th anniversary in a joyful, thankful and meaningful way.
There will be more to come as the year unfolds.
The Glebe, our investment property, is operating smoothly and successfully. Our professional managers report that we have had full occupancy for most of 2018. We are proud of the presence the 15 Allan Drive property has in our community.
Throughout the year we supported the CCS food drive, the CAFFI community, FaithWorks, White Gift Sunday, the Santa Claus parade and held a very successful Bazaar.
As the year 2019 approaches we can look back with pride on our previous year and to our entire 175-year history in our community. We look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead.
Please be generous as you pledge to the work of the church in the coming year.

How to Pledge Your Commitment
Step 1: Prayerfully consider how much you will give monthly or yearly. To help us meet our commitments, consider increasing your pledge if you are able. This year the rate of inflation is 2.5%. The Diocesan average yearly pledge is $1425/year or approximately $120 per month.
Step 2: Fill in the pledge sheet available at the church. Place it in a Pledge Envelope, available at either entrance, and put it on the offering plate or take it to the church office.
PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING ~ Recommended!

- If you are already enrolled in Pre-Authorized Giving, please fill out the Pledge Form only. You do not need to re-register for Per-Authorized each year.
